Tamar has raised the £150,000 so has started the treatment which is great news. Amazingly despite undergoing chemotherapy, she is still pressuring Merton PCT over their refusal to fund the treatment- so hopefully future patients won't have to go through what she did. She is doing this in a novel way though- via the first ever eBay petition. The idea is you buy a letter to send the trust and the rest goes to her ever-increasing treatment costs. There's no easy way of saying this, but I'm afraid Tamar passed away yesterday. I think that the way she refused to give up was really inspiring and that she has done much to raise awareness of the second most common cancer in women. Thank you all for your support.
