This just fills me full of enthusiasm for the next year of WI meetings! As a natural cynic I never thought I'd fine iridology interesting (last meeting)but it was fascinating. Roll on March!

Hi, I really want to come along for a meeting, unfortunately I can't make tonight's meeting.
What date will your next meeting be?
Can I turn up for one meeting, then pay the joining fee after?
Thanks,
Carla

Hi Carla- thank you for your comment. Our next meeting will be on Mon 4th June and details will be posted on the blog in due course. It is perfectly fine for you to just turn up and not commit to joining for your first meeting. I look forward to seeing you then.

Hi there
Would I have to live in Fulham to join your WI? I live in Fulham but your activities sound really interesting.
Many thanks

Hello there.
Sorry if this is a repeat, It's my first time on this website and I'm not sure my first comment got sent.
I would like to do the Climate Change Survey but the link just takes me back to your home page. Am I missing something?
Also, is there another group closer to me, I live in Brixton, SW2.
Thanks
Sarah

Hi jess- details are now on the blog!

After reading your info am most impressed.
Moved to the sticks from London five years ago, after PTA, young wives, etc needed to join in the community spirit so here I am WI secretary.
Needless to say ,hard graft. Am country born so am returning to my roots as it were but have stepped into calendar girls,(I do not joke) and need the younger intake desperately.
Articles such as yours are what is needed, "To educate and encourage the youger woman to get out and make alife for herself beyond hubby and the kids".
The title WI puts many off before you can even begin to state what it is really about, so I hope your article has been read far and wide, I shall certainly promote with it tucked under my arm.
Many thanks, Wendy
ps Will be returning for more ideas

I'd be interested to come along to the next meeting - when/where is it?
Thanks,
Emma

Hi,
Your site has been quite an education for me. I am a 72 years old East Sussex WI member and unless we can encourage some younger women to join us our WI will die with us.
But, where do we start? How do we start?
We are in a country market town, our average age is about 58. Do you have any suggestions about attracting younger women, especially young single parents? I really would like to hear from you.
Thank you for letting me post this.
Olivia.
