Fulham WI Events: Charity cocktail party and Theatre Club TICKETS ON SALE

 

 

 

 

 

We've got a couple of rather special events happening over the next couple of months.

Firstly, Fulham WI Cocktail Party on Saturday, October 17 from 7.00 to 9.30pm (venue will be open longer) - replacing the annual ball this will be our charity event that will raise money for this years' chosen charity Thrive. 

With a James Bond theme, the event will include, 2 cocktails, canapes, casino and there will also be a raffle (anyone who does have any prizes they would like to donate please let the committee know by emailing this address).

This is set to be a fantastic event in a wonderful location - University Women's Club in Mayfair. Full details are on the flyer.  Please feel free to send on/print out and encourage as many people as possible to come along to support the FWI and this worthy cause.

How to buy tickets: The tickets are on sale NOW so please bring along friends, family, colleagues etc (all welcome). There is a flyer attached that can be sent out to one and all. Priced at £25.00 per person they are available from Katrina Quinton, please send cheques made out to Fulham WI to Katrina at 1a Chepstow Hall, 29 Earls Court Square, London SW5 9DB. Or, bring along cheques and cash to the next meeting.

This month we also see the introduction of the WI Theatre Club. The details are below of what is coming up and again Katrina is the person you need to talk about regarding payment for tickets. Please email this address if it is something you would like to attend and let us know which show it is and how many people. For Hairspray and Speaking in Tongues payment is due by September 24.

For over three years, Ambassador Theatre Group has been running various Matinee Theatre Offers and Events for the Women’s Institute and we now have contact with literally hundreds of WI’s across the South East.  Our latest initiative – WI London Theatre Club is aimed at the growing number of new & younger WIs in central London and beyond.  Our hope is to hold regular evening and weekend Theatre Events in the West End, which will enable WI members & friends to see superb London Theatre at discount prices and also socialise with other like-minded WI members.

We are delighted to announce the following first three WI Theatre Club Events:

Speaking In Tongues - Duke Of York Theatre on St Martin's Lane - Thursday 8th October 7.30pm - This highly charged thriller by Andrew Bovell stars John Simm & Ian Hart.  We have arranged a small private allocation of tickets in top priced Royal Circle seats available to WI groups of 8+ at £29.50pp (reduced from £48.50). 

Hairspray – Shaftesbury Theatre - Thursday 22nd October at 7.30pm - £25pp (groups of 6+) – Top priced stalls & dress circle seats Meet from 6.45pm in the stalls bar for Pre-show drinks

Legally Blonde – Savoy Theatre - Sunday 31st January 2010 – 1pm - Lunch Party & Theatre

Three Course + wine Lunch at Planet Hollywood £23. Top Theatre Ticket for the 3pm matinee £29.50pp (groups of 8+)
