Dear Ladies
Firstly, I must apologise to those ladies who sent emails and I didn't reply to say come and join us last night. I am so sorry but June was rather bonkers which is a hopeless excuse when you have taken the trouble to get in touch and expressed an interest to join Fulham WI. Please don't give up on us!
Secondly, I must apologise to those other ladies who did come looking for The Peterborough pub because the pub has not been called that for six years and is The Southern Cross pub so if there are some of you out there who spent last night looking for a non-existent pub in the rain - I'm sorry and promise I will try and do better and hope that you won't give up on us either!
Anyway, for those of you who were at last night's meeting I hope you enjoyed it, and for those of you who weren't I hope you were enjoying yourselves or recovering from a happy weekend. As promised a couple of catch ups to act as an aide memoire and to respond to if you so wish!
The Parson's Green Fair on Saturday 7 July is on the Green and Fulham WI is stall 59a. I hope we will be fairly obvious. Some of us will be there from 10am to set up the stall and the fair itself is from 11.30 to 5.30pm so all help and contributions will be gratefully received at any point during the day. We need cakes, biscuits, savouries, jam and anything else you may have created to entice people to part with their money. This will help us fund the Institute and also the Denman College Bursaries which will be drawn at the November meeting.
If you can't come on Saturday but can still bake, please feel free to drop things off on Friday evening either with Gillian -Flat B, 2 Wyfold Road, SW6 6SJ (just off Munster Road) (07768 456756)

Before Jane Michell talked to us about her organisation (
www.janeplan.com)
Fiona-Jane Weston used us as for a try-out for an addition to her new cabaret show
' Living London'. It was a Pinter extract and now I need to find out where Bolsover Road is and anyone who drives around London completely understands and can take wry humour in its reality. Just part of the show which is on at the
Leicester Square Theatre in August. We thought we would go and have an evening of cabaret on
Saturday 4th August, show starts at 9pm (should be over by 10.30/10.45) and ticket prices are £15. For a group of 10 we get the 11th seat free which makes it £14 a ticket. For those of you who are students or senior citizens the ticket price is £10. Can you let me know if you would like to come - friends and family are all welcome to join the party - and obviously if you qualify for a discounted ticket. Tickets are available - I can't hold any but would like to try and book them early next week.
We're hoping to have Proctor and Gamble with us next month talking about Olympic marketing on August 6th, when we will be in the midst of the Olympics experience - hopefully we'll manage to send another email before then but if you can come back to me about a Saturday night out at a West End cabaret that would be great!
Look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
All good wishes
